2009 AchievementsIt felt a little odd going to the Big D Marathon to run a 5k, but I ran it proudly. It was really windy, but the course was pretty flat and it was a good mix of people running for competition and just for fun. Here’s how it went:
5k in 24:58. (8:03 per mile)
I came in 53rd overall, and 6th in my age group.
Most exciting part? Celebrating with the family at the end. Time to move on to the 10k.
He doesn't know why we're celebrating. He just knows it's exciting.
